Resumo

The ethical principle of confidentiality is regarded as the corestone of the psychologist-client relationship. This article attempts to describe the implications of some aspects of this ethical principle and its relationship with the legal concept of priviliged communications. This discusion is donde in the context of the professional ethical codes and laws in force in Puerto Rico.
