Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • All submissions must meet the following requirements.

    • Make sure you have prepared the cover letter with the information required by the Puerto Rican Journal of Psychology.
    • Verify that the manuscript (text, references, tables, images) to be submitted has been structured in accordance with the guidelines for authors of the Puerto Rican Journal of Psychology
    • The manuscript must follow the recommendations established in the publication manual of the American Psychological Association version 7.0. Some examples are available in the guidelines for authors section.
    • Make sure that the manuscript does not have information that identifies the authors to ensure anonymous evaluation by the reviewers of the journal.
    • As part of the record of authorship, you must include the web link to the ORCID profile of each author of the submitted manuscript.
    • Make sure you have taken the inclusive language recommendations into consideration: https://repsasppr.net/index.php/reps/inclusivelanguage
